Edit Quote Header
Once you selected the quote with the select quote form and
clicked on the edit quote header button, the quote header form
will pop up with an additional button for saving the updated
quote header.

Once you finished editing the quote header you can either
save the header only, or you can save it and directly start to
edit the quote.
If you click on the update header button, the edited header
will be saved and a the dialog will close.
If you click on the create quote, the header will be saved
and the quote will be recreated, to make sure that any changes
in the model is updated as well. If the quote was edited
before, the entered variables will be copied to the updated
quote, but all obsolete variables will be deleted. Obsolete
calculation centers, cost element will be deleted, and new
ones will be added to the quote.
In case you have changes to the quote model or the quote
model is changed after you have edited the quote, you should
always recreate the quote. However the quote model cannot be
changed if it is used in a quote, you should be careful
changing model calculation, once you started to use the model.
Note! The quotes are containing saved variables and
calculation methods, coming from the calculation model, which
was valid at the time of creating the quote. If the model
calculation method is changed after that, the quote will not
recognize this change automatically. P&L simulation is
based on the filled quote. If you have changed the model
calculation formulas and you want to compare the previously
create quote to the quote based on the new calculation model,
you can create a new quote with the model and fill the
variables, make the calculation and can generate a new P&L
simulation.
