Creating New Quote
To create a new quote, at first you need to define its header
information.

Enter the quote ID, which can be a short description of the
product, service, but it is recommended to add such
information which can be related to volume, customer or any
other information to which the quote is made for. You can
detail the quote more in the description field.
If you have many related quotes, you can link them together
with the package information. If you defined a package name
already, you can select it from the combobox. If not, you can
create a new one, clicking on the new package button.
Quotes must be created using a quote model. The quote model
must exist and must be completed, as once the form is
completed and the create quote button pressed, the quote
should be created and this is not possible with an incomplete
quote model. Select the quote model from the combobox.
Quote Date is the date for which the quote is created. It is
important to use a date here inline with your rate table
setup. You can use a future date here if you would like to
quote for a later date and you already have rates defined for
that period when the quote expected to be in use. So if your
current rate is different from the future date rate, you
should use the date which is same or later of the new rate.
Once you completed filling the form, click on the create
quote button to create the quote information ready to fill.
After that you can start to enter the parameters of the quote
by selecting it with the select quote menu item.
