Copy Quote

If you want to create quote versions with different parameters or based on different calculation, you can start with copying an existing quote.

From the menu, select the Copy Quote menu point and the copy quote window will open.



You can select the quote from the list and copy it based on the same model (calculation). Type the new name and description to the fields below the quotes list and press the Copy Quote button.

The new quote will use exactly the same model for the copied quote.

If you want to change the calculation model as well, you should uncheck the Same Model checkbox and type a prefix to the Model Prefix field. Once you click on the Copy Quote button, the application will copy to quote and create a new model with the same calculation method, which you can than start to edit the calculation method and regenerate the quote based on the updated model calculation.

The variables, which are not change in the new calculation, will have the previous value, what you can change in the Edit Quote or Edit Package windows.
